Get in TouchConceptual teaching that builds lasting confidence — not shortcuts that collapse before the next exam.
Students consistently raise their stanines on the ISEE — with real content mastery, not test tricks.
Equally effective with advanced students hungry for enrichment and students who need to rebuild from the ground up.

How I Work
Confidence is a byproduct of understanding — not a prerequisite for it.
My focus is on conceptual understanding — the kind that builds genuine confidence, holds up over time, and produces a real sense of accomplishment. Memorized procedures work until they don't; deep understanding builds a foundation that serves the student, whatever their goals.
For advanced learners, that means going further than the standard curriculum allows: elegant problem-solving strategies, competition-style reasoning, and the satisfaction of tackling problems that require creative thinking.
For students who feel stuck, it means identifying the root of the difficulty and rebuilding from there. Every student deserves to feel capable, not just coached.

What Families Say
"I worked with Micole because I was really struggling with precalculus and she was very helpful. I loved working with her because she understood my way of learning and if I did not understand she would reexplain it visually and talk it out until I grasped the concepts. Micole is really flexible and wants you to excel so if you are thinking of having her as a tutor, do it!"

"Micole worked with our daughter on math during 3rd and 4th grade, and it really made a difference. Micole helped her move well beyond grade level while making sure she truly understood each concept before moving on. By 4th grade, our daughter was working on pre-algebra through Art of Problem Solving. Micole helped her build confidence and pride. We recommend her 1000%."

"Micole helped our daughter prepare for the ISEE. When she first took a diagnostic, she was getting mostly 7s. On the actual test, she got 9s across the board. She worked on the underlying math, test strategy, timing, and even how to use the test browser tools effectively. Our daughter went into the test feeling prepared and confident, and the final scores reflected that."

Parent
"I worked with Micole for 2 years, preparing for the International Baccalaureate French 2 Standard Level exam. Throughout our time together, Micole helped me strengthen my French skills through reading comprehension, listening comprehension, analyzing stories, and working on my ability to answer questions effectively in the IB style. Micole was very responsive and always took the time to understand my individual needs. She met me where I was and tailored each meeting to focus on the areas where I needed the most support. She was patient, dedicated, and encouraging in helping me build my confidence and make progress in my abilities. I am grateful for all of Micole's guidance and support."

"Micole worked with our daughter for two years in preparation for the IB SL French exam. She was easily accessible, provided honest feedback, and approached each task with creativity and a desire for our daughter to succeed. Her encouraging personality and growth mindset perspective helped remove the fear and anxiety from a subject of challenge for our daughter."
